Why does path of exile DC so easily?

Serious question, i've played alot of online games in my life and never have I been forced to re-login at least 3 times per hour on average after suddenly DC'ing. (often also a total client crash)

Probably because letting your character disconnect and leave the instance is preferable to dying within a few seconds of lag.
Did that to me for a while. It was my video card dying. Replaced the old card and haven't DCed in a year.
if you are DCing that much maybe you need to get better internet :/

Better questions would be: "Why is the internet so shitty?" or "Why is the computer so bad?"

Both aren't. As i've said problem hasn't been accuring with other games.

PoE is actually quite stable and should not crash. It usually is an ISP issue.

Hi GnGEmpire,

Unfortunately, your connections to other games can't really indicate how good your connection to Path of Exile will be, because their servers are located in other places. Because of this, packets sent to and from them will take different routes. If one route goes through a node that causes packet loss or high latency, that will result in a worse connection than one that doesn't.

Of course, if your client itself is crashing then that's probably not connection related, so any information about either your connection or your hardware that you can provide would be appreciated.

I get a solid 15ms on League of Legends every time I play, but in FFXIV, I get lag spikes upwards of 1500-1800ms sometimes. It's normally pretty stable, though. As for this game, lag doesn't tend to be an issue most of the time. It's just desync that gets to be problematic sometimes.
I am having the same problem and it not a comp problem using 770 g card and internet is great for every other game as well. I am from Alberta Canada and the game is unplayable as is. I have all setting turned down shadows off yada yada. I have played POE several times before without this kind of drop issues near killed me a dozen times today. AFK softcore time.

PS: I am on the one month league HC currently
