It seems not to allow for lower crit chance than 5% to be input, or should i say lower crit chance is ignored and 5% is used always.

Lightning spells have a base crit of 4%.

" Yes, the calculations for that kind of gems are from a 4% base. But if you have a crit chance below 5%, the game will consider your crit chance as 5%, just the same Khisanth wrote you. That's why you can input a 4% value in the Spell critical strike chance, but you'll se a 5% base crit chance if you didn't take crit nodes or you wear no increasec crit gear. - Attack and Spell DPS Calculator (view-thread/977942)

Anyway to use this, to get tooltip damage? Or do you have to put in the tooltip damage to figure out the dps - i keep getting "4259,64144375" dps.... unless that comma is suppose to be a period i don't think this is correct, lol.
