FYI: Desync has been a problem with many online games since the concept was invented.
Overuse of movement skills often leads to desync as well. The devs are aware of this issue, and are trying their level best to rewrite the netcode to prevent this where possible. This is a small studio of about 18 staff, and they are stretched as it is to keep the show going on. Personally, I have had almost zero issues with desync, maybe the occasional lag spike, but never anything serious. And many others can back this up. If you're in australia or NZ, the cable from Aussie to Singapore got severed in an accident. That won't be fixed until mid-Feb. Just some more info to throw out. I have never, ever suffered any problems because of lag or desync, to reiterate again. And I am sorry that you did. The game tries its best, and as time goes on, problems will be partly or completely solved. Also, open beta. the lag at present is around 100-200 ms ping stacked on due to signal rerouting through an alternate route. You can still play but may be hampered depending on your original ping from before the accident.

But yeah, people can claim beta all they want but Ive played just about every f2p mmo out there and this is the first time Ive seen such horrible desync issues Im fully expecting the game to do into full release without this being fixed, and then I wanna see what excuse you all are gonna come up with |

yeah you guys cant play and rage quit cause you lost your char on own fault, every time the same, and its not the only post. stop blame ggg for your own fault. look at the top players, they only lost chars by own fault and dont rage quit like you. and if server chrash its a rollback so. stfu and l2p

You're not the only one losing characters to desyncs. Just lost my HC witch geared to the teeth.
All in all, gotta be patient. We are, after all, in open beta. |
