Huge lag spikes lately

Is there a reason for the crazy latency spikes im getting. It keeps flatlining rubber banding me all over the place and getting me killed. Making it completely un fun to play right now. Cant gain any exp with constant rubber band lag and death. And this is on a brand new laptop just bought a week ago

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. Are you playing on a wireless connection? If so I recommend switching to wired, as that tends to be more stable. If that doesn't improve things, could you please run WinMTR for us so that we can see if there's something connection related that might be causing this? Other things to try are ensuring your antivirus/firewall aren't interfering with the game, and that there's nothing else using your network at the time. Any information you can provide will assist us in figuring out what the reason for this might be. Gameplay & Level Design
