Ball lightning and cast speed
Useless right? What supports can be used with it other than lightning pen? Gmp and conc effect already confirmed to not work.

Hardly useless, as long as you don't cast them so fast that the previous ball's AoE overlaps the following one.
Slower projectiles will be awesome for it and we're talking about a pretty seriuos damage multiplier here, if it goes 44% slower it will stay on target 78% longer resulting in 78% more hits. Unfortunately, I don't think that projectile damage boost will also apply as projectiles don't hit the targets themselves but fry them with little arcs which aren't projectiles (or AoE) themselves. Hmm, which means if we had D2 frozen orb here it would be affected by projectile damage but would also ignore AoE damage boost. " slower projectiles reduces the aoe? and if they 250ms cd is not per cast, then i would bet fcr is indeed useless. " thats what i meant, seems the spell has enough aoe as is. I am tempted to support it with added chaos / cold damage. It works really well on Incinerate, which has the same damage effectiveness.

" if they travel slower and have a preset duration, then logically the aoe is reduced. Not all enemies tend to gang up on you within 10 yards or so, so it is an issue. |

" Well, like someone mentioned, the damage isn't (or is it?) projectile damage and LMP/GMP reduces projectile damage. We'll see... Added x damage works with it to purely increase the damage output I guess. Iron Will most certainly will at least. |

" I think you mean range is reduced. Within the game system, AoE, and projectile range, are completely different things. |

Lightning Arrow's "arcs" are also Projectile Damage. Ball Lightning isn't going to be different there.
