Auction/Trade Stash System - What are your thoughts?

When I clicked on the link to this thread (before I read OP's post) I had every intention of tearing OP's idea to shreds, because auctions are bad. This idea is okay* precisely because it doesn't involve auctions. I'd strongly recommend changing the thread title (OP can do this by editing the first post).
* I'm not strongly for or against this suggestion. When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted. No on all accounts, do not make this game any easier by allowing people to access whatever they want whenever they want. Bout time people learn to try and earn their items and cope with what they have. In fact, I hate the trading system in general, I would actually prefer there was no trading at all, would make the game much more difficult and rewarding. I would probably make it so you could trade gems and that is it, since some gems you can never find.

I just think it is apparent something is needed. All it would do is steer people in the right direction for obtaining the items they need - it'd hardly be an AH and it wouldn't be the abortion that was the FFXIV marketplaces.
You'd only get a very small selection of items and not all items and would still have to go through the effort of making the trade work. |
