"I would say yes. The graphics are definitely dated, and the bigger levels are kind of empty by modern standards. But the gameplay is really, really good, and it's just really fun. "Ah, that brings back memories :) | |

Again I have to say:
Legends of Kesmai - GrandFather of the current MMO... still going on as a recreation, but badly needs to be updated under new management. If I ever get around to it I'll build LOK2. Drakkar - a close second to Kesmai. and... I don't think I have a third great game that nobody has ever heard of :( If you have account problems please Email Support

"I believe the game would actually be Neverwinter Nights. _____________________ Anyway, the first game I can think of that I loved that I'm quite certain very few people would know about is Eric the Unready (1993, Legend Entertainment). Best comedy game I've ever played. I'd personally recommend it over any other comedy game, such as monkey island or sam and max or leisure suit larry or grim fandango, but it's a text-based game (with pictures) so it may not suit all tastes, but it should (reads easy — hell I played it at like age 12 or something) I can think of two other games which I really love, but I wouldn't call them unknown (sorta like many of the games on here): Rise of the Triad (1995, Apogee/3D Realms): Not too well known to my knowledge. This was supposed to be the sequel to Wolfenstien 3D. Very possibly the best FPS I've ever played (balancing the games based off time they were made) Nox (1999, Westwood Studios) Possibly quite well-known, but still very unknown overall. This is probably the main one I should look to replace to mention a different game instead. That said, I still love this game like crazy. It's one of the best competitive multiplayer fantasy/medieval game I've ever played, along with DotA (probably 3rd place) and Guild Wars (1st or 2nd). Fresh cakes for all occasions.
