If you want free resets make a new char everytime you screw up. Or get yourself some regret orbs.
I love POE because there is no perma respec with the passives.
You should go and play D3 and later even RoS. Its perfect for people like you, trust me.
The perma respec is what ruined D3 for me anyways so you wont see me there.

As i said in the original post this would have no effect on me as I have the currency to reset as much as I like.
As for D3 RoS, played, completed, level 70, quit, I'm sticking with PoE due to the amount of customization available.

It would be P2W because you can buy it because you have the money while someone else doesnt have the money nor the incentive to ever spend money on this game and neither the regret orbs to reset the tree. Such a person could never play with you in a party or fight you in PVP.
Also, why isnt this in suggestions?

More like why isn't this locked and linked to one of the million threads about the same thing, where devs have multiple times said it will never happen because it'd be a massive P2W and against their idea of character progression.

Please link me the thread in which a dev has stated this would never happen & that it is a massive P2W.

Unfortunately it's not linked in Common Suggestions sticky over at Suggestions subforum, but it has this:
"
30. Add another way to respec aside from quests and orbs of regret.
I don't think this is likely. Paying for respecs in the cash shop would be Pay2Win, and GGG has stated that they hate offering full respecs because they want you to feel some permanence to your choices. That said, with the help of trade, it shouldn't take all that long to farm enough orbs of regret to fundamentally alter your build.

Still doesn't prove that GGG have actually said that, it's just another player stating that. I don't see how some players see this as pay2win, it's merely another option of resetting your skills even if it's a useable item which only resets 1 skill as apposed to the full tree it would still be beneficial to some players.

Not its not. It was a player asking about that or multiple players and the response from GGG is right there.
