Difficulty:

This game requires you to put some thought into your build...you will need to do a bit of research to be successful and reach end game. If you are having troubles, post your build and ask for help, somebody will help you

the difficulty is why we love this game and why we have "supported" it will money


FULL RESPECS:

It is so much fun to POE lovers to make multiple toons, each time perfecting a certain build and learning from past mistakes. It makes us better at the game and teaches us to succeed.

STOP ASKING FOR P2W FULL RESPECS
it would cheapen the experience and is not welcome


Pay2Win:

JUST STOP...
there are other options in the ARPG genre if you want your hand held through the game and use your credit card to "PWN"


LOSS OF EXPERIENCE:

If you are losing a ton of experience and are frustrated, ask for help. This means you are not ready for further content and need help. Your build might be bad, you may not understand mechanics, or your playing might need some practice.

NINJA LOOT

You can't ninja in this game...I repeat...you cannot ninja in this game!

You are not "entitled" to any loot, and the loot is not "yours" until it is in your inventory. The current system is more then forgiving and if your internet connection doesn't allow the game to render the item before the timer runs out (ya right...) then maybe this game is not for you.

In conclusion, please understand that the reason why this game is successful and growing is because of these fundamental game mechanics and game play. This is why we have "supported" the game. This is why we love the game.

Dont get me wrong, I want you to stay a while and listen, but maybe this is not your kind of game.

I would say this, give it a chance, it just my grow on you

I love the high difficulty and the "you get nothing for free-principle" of this game !

The challenging gameplay and "no P2W" of PoE is the core business idea of Grinding Gear Games and could be very successful.

Too many posts of people wanting this stuff to change...please stop

I agree with all of the above.

The thread spam with the same topics needs to stop. It attracts nothing but people ready to argue tooth and nail for their side, and even people who are just trying to be helpful are getting worn down and snapping at posters.

I'd also like to see some sort of filter implemented for kool kid words like "staph" "lulz" "noob" etc. It's, quite frankly, retarded. That's my own old man gripe though, so I'll just shout it from my place on the porch.

If there could be a way to get new posters to not be able to post new threads about the same old tired topics, we'd be a lot better off as a community.

Perfect post. The game plays exactly as intended. If all you can do is come on the forums and cry a out why it's too hard for you, or you don't like a certain game mechanic, go somewhere else.
