Bots ?

I'm tired...

what good comes from a community which see a problem, but feel because they are in the right the problem should not be addressed.

Or perhaps some of us don't see a problem, and as such feel there is nothing to be addressed? ;s

Tis best to always assume that anyone disagreeing with you is either trolling, lying, or stupid... amirite?
MOAR PANTS, because every good game needs a pointless meme.

they do no one harm. they don't affect the economy.

now go back to d3 DeckardXLeah
The issue is because people who is doing this, exploit the game to a point there is almost no worse ways to exploit the game. Yes it will affect the in game economy, and the RMT people will use this method through muti-boxing.

Drops in a party is never meant to be for one player,(that is the general idea) however these people are very unethical(I know you love to disagree with me, but this is serious it is neither funny or for trolling purposes)

When a player muti-box in HC they have the benefit of taking no risk with five of his alts, and leveling them, at the same time getting the item to be dropped in a ratio of 6 players(5 alts)

maybe 0,01% of all player even try to multibox. it don't affect the economy.
try to brain before posting. you are 16 years old, aren't you?
i don't care if it's unethical if it's allowed by the developers.
i don't do it by myself becaus it is really hard.
if he gains a benefit but has to work a lot harder i don't really care.
it's nothing like boting.
If I want to troll, I would just had said something like "Muti-boxing" killed my father.
If I were to do this (multiboxing), I'd probably use 5x identical summoner builds and one dual totem build. Idea being to use the easiest builds - that require less attention - for the 'followers' and have the main char capable of doing crowd control. Of course, there are probably much better ways of doing it, haven't given it all that much thought.

The point is, it isn't necessarily hard. No aiming is really required. Hardest part would be routing the gaggle of followers through indoor/cave content. This is where I'd cross the line from multi boxing into botting since.. well.. if I'm going to be unethical.. I *am* a programmer, lol.

I do appreciate that there is a challenge to it. If there were truly no impact on the game economy or on the game itself, I'd not even bother commenting - to each his/her own. Problem is.. while economic effects are debatable, there's the queue and server capacity to be considered.

Stopping someone from multi-boxing, or some mix of multi-boxing and botting, is only possible by extensive server side logging and data mining/automated detection and analysis software. Not sure if GGG has what it takes to do that or if it will become a big enough problem for them to bother with.

Didn't affect me honestly. Tbh myself i'm not really bothered who got what for how much as long as game is fun. Just saying...
I see a multiboxer. Also, there are well known bot making websites, and their PoE forums have no mention of a bot worthy of anything. In fact, there was a maphack created, which was fixed a week after it was released. Chris and other devs have mentioned that they're well aware of the botting communities and keeps eyes and ears on all of them. Do some research before you post next time.

Had no idea what multiboxing is. Now Im looking some videos on youtube and to be honest, Im quite surprised how many people are supporting this. This is an obvious exploit which should not be allowed in my opinion.
