Everyone congratulate DivineOregon for becoming the 3rd shadow to enter the top 100 due to all the dead templars!
:D Cuz lulz But for real kudos to those three shadows, they have achieved the impossible my evasion is so high i only insta rip sometimes ----- Bug Fixes: People were using cyclone for actual melee builds, so we nerfed it and made blade vortex. Yep, while not playing in Invasion, my Ambush Templar is going pretty strong. Can't wait until I've farmed enough with him to fund my planned low-life melee shadow (which is going to be interesting with the leech changes, but do-able).
If you want to make valid complaints in regards to class distribution in the ladder, I would suggest waiting until it has matured a bit more. |

" Got a link for your melee shadow idea? I've been trying to do melee shadows (typically with daggers) for a long time and they all sucked, but since vaal pact is now moved it may be possible. The leech changes make vaal pact much more attractive even with the nerfs, and it's reachable now. Planning on high EV/ES, aura passives, life regen + decent life pool (so that having only 35% of it to buffer chaos damage is workable), Ghost Reaver, Claw (not decided on block or dual wield, leaning block for Tempest Shield + LL), likely a 3L Cast on Stun + Molten Shell + Decoy Totem (undecided on 3rd skill in link, but def CoS+MS), and enough chaos resists and life regen to counter Blood Rage so that I can ABUSE the attack speed on low life. Not planning on VP, too much travel, IMO.
Undecided on main attack skill, whirling blades for movement, leaning towards Reave. |

" Eh, I don't think it'll be viable in the new league. There are more than enough 1hko bosses to make melee completely unviable. Though you could just run from all the new bosses I guess. " if you have a really realllly good claw to couple with bloodseeker (instant leech with no reduction or restrictions unlike VP) and basically just go life nodes+dw block, I think its possible. the problem is getting a reallly reaaaaally good claw. |
