Can't launch game on Steam after latest patch

don't have this font and installing it doesn't help either

I have the same error. I want to play the new expansion so bad! ;(

Any new info, fix, solution for this? :/

restarting after unistalling the font did no good, tried both client and steam to no avail, will hope for some further information but as of right now no POE for me

I'm getting the same error, with the font DiagramTTBlindAll - last night the game worked after deleting the font, "fix" patch doesn't seem to have addressed the issue, as reinstalling the font just causes the same crash as before. Obviously deleting the font is fine as a temporary solution, but not ideal long-term.

I can confirm that this workaround fixed the Problem for me.
I am on Windows 7 64 Bit.

So for me it was only the KaiTi Font.

1. Start PoE
2. Read the Error Message
3. Open explorer and enter:
\\localhost\c$\Windows\Fonts
4. Locate the Font from the Error Message
5. Rightclick Install
6. Restart PoE

You may have to repeat it until all the required Fonts are installed.

if you dont find it under /windows/font

I've had errors with font after font. Everytime I remove one I got to restart, then a new error comes up. I've done this countless times, and now I've reached a font which doesn't appear in the windows/fonts folder, doesn't appear in the registry... I'm stumped. Tried all the "fixes" posted thus far.

have you check the 2 paths in my guide one is for 32bit and the other 64bit and maybe u have to delete on both paths

ah and dont forget to restart pc after this

I use 32-bit vista (so don't need the extra steps). I appreciate the help though :)

I've restarted like 10 times every time after trying something different ^^
