Nope, it's not bugged. Spectral throw is just not meant to be used with 1-hand physical weapons. Forget trying to use ST and if you really want a ranged attack, try out Lightning Strike.

I'll admit some of the reason for ST is style. I know options are out there EK for example. Which I may take for a spin again. I like how ST handles. I don't really dig lightning strike.

I do like the look of Resolute Technique. Considering this is far from a crit build it would be amazing.

How much do blood magic gems go for these days?

Would this build be better built from the dualist class or does it matter? I picked scion cause of ST and it being central so that I had easier access to other nodes. But seeing now how much dualist I'm using it's making me wonder. And her blue clothes bother the shit out of me.

BM is 1-2 chaos, Duelist will work equally as well, it's really a choice of red or blue clothes.
