We can Barely raise the dmg of EK .... In can use the +physical dmg nodes e.g. At the Shadow Start

Because EK double dips on the physical dmg that you already get as being a physical crit ranger, and ek is a spell thus it works with coc.

While leveling my char i used a Coldshot gem. Irly love this skill! Can I use you crit/def build for it? Or i need mor ele/cold dmg nodes?

Yes you can.
basically, all physical skills and skills that convert physical to elemental can be used with a physical (crit) bow build. Ranger builds list: /917964
