Personally, I think it would be a cool idea for a short-term race, if the seed for the random passive tree layout was based on the race start time or something (to prevent rerolling the tree). Not really. But the few people best equipped to answer design questions are way too busy to answer all the overwhelming flood of design questions we get. Also, answers to design questions tend to some of the most relatively time-consuming answers for us to compose.

Ummm... you mean like a new Unique specifically for unarmed builds? I doubt it. It would just become BiS, most likely, thereby reducing build options. There's already several uniques that are popular for use with Facebreaker, though they weren't really designed with that particular build in mind. I'm sure that someday a new unique will roll along that happens to work well with Facebreaker.

I believe there are plans to update the lesser-used/underpowered classes. I don't know of any major plans targeting the Scion specifically. But the Passive Skill Tree is always undergoing changes, both large and small, slowly converging (asymptotically?) towards balance.
