The last few claw types all have pros and cons. Kinda up to you depending on what you want to go for and what your gear / passives look like.
Vaal Claw has the highest base DPS and Crit, so if you're going with a Crit build it will have the best chance of high DPS for a Physical / Crit build. As you say it doesn't benefit as much from flat Physical roll, and rolling the top tier Physical % rolls is pretty difficult. For what your'e trying to do (kind of a half-ass crafting for an upgrade) it might be better to go with an Imperial Claw so that a greater range of affixes will have good benefit. As for the leech, do you use Vaal Pact? If not then it's likely you're already capping your leech speed anyway, especially against multiple targets, so I wouldn't worry about that too much. If you're using VP though then it's worth thinking about, but as a Claw user I would assume you have access to a few Leech nodes in the Shadow/Ranger area that can easily compensate for it. |

" Thank you! I do not have Vaal pact, and I probably am capping my leech. I guess I'm gonna give the Vaal Claw a try, as ASPD is something I'm really not particularly keen on (I have 60 mana to work with until my Reduced Mana levels up a bit more).
