There will always be such "flippers". Easiest way to change it, just register you own trade with your ratio you would like to sell ;). Don´t be afraid of it and if your conditions are better, than you will have successful trades :)

There are already some replys for your post but I still want to say my opinion to this situation. Yes, we thought from the beginning, that this could happen but on the other hand. People want to sell but are afraid of registering on new sites (understandable i wouldn´t like to give my account data to some strange sites too) so we decided to be it accessible for everyone and you have only to writte your InGameName (IGN). We can´t prefend of false or fake names. But where you can do so? I could register a new Account and use your IGN in this forum, that i sell other thinks and you would get whispered again. So we will blame the forum as next. Than i create a fake account and log in and start shouting in the trade channel that you sell items and it starts again. Than the "bad" trade channel will be made for the bad responsible.
I understand that it´s not funny to get whispers all the time. If you got a better solution to solve this problem, feel free to response :)

P.S. if someone get again whispers because of false trades. You can whisper me in game. My nick is "crit_time" and we will delete the fake trades immediate

ty so much for this, althou i rarely trade currency, sometimes i burn through fuses/jewler/chromes. i like trade chat so much that i actually buy those form the npc

It is irresponsible to open a site with the potential for unchecked abuse in this way. That site should be taken down until you can think of something better. Don't hold other players hostage to spam until they can solve your problem for you.

I think a simple "opt-out" list would solve the problem: If you're getting spammed, send a PM to the site owner's PoE account with all your characer names. Those names now cannot be listed on the website any more.

It shouldn't be such a big problem unless there's a little shit here that does nothing but falsely advertise people all day, but if it becomes a big enough problem you could even set up an automated system to do the above.

Yes. We already put the spammed user from yesterday on our "black list" and he won´t get new whispers, when someone tries to use his IGN (but he can´t trade with his name on our site too. But i think he wasn´t going to do it anyway)

Yes. If we get bigger we have maybe to think about an automated part for puting unwanted user on our black list (till now the only way is to whisper me "crit_time". This was the first incident and first we have to wait to see if this happens more often and if there will be a growth of trades on our site)

Did you also blacklist the offending spammer? What's stopping a script kiddie from spamming your site with false trades?

You should have a separate login/password system where you verify character IGNs through a forum PM.
