Piety or level 66-69 maps farming

Hello all

I have just managed to get my first character to be able to do both piety and level 66-69 maps both pretty safely. Now my question is which is better from a magic finding from an efficiency point of view.

I currently do not have any 70+ maps to run to test there sadly.

Thanks in advance
What are your goals? What are you trying to work efficiently towards? It's not really clear from your title/post.
Maps for experience.
Piety for wealth.

for itamz

u are welcome
The rest of the 'end-game' content will be available along with a heap of new stuff when the game launches in a few months time. From what I've seen it's going to be awesome. - Michael_GGG
Thanks for the fast replies everyone, really appreciated.

Initially it is to gain wealth as I still occasionally die to deep things and due to not having enough health.

I know maps are best for exp was just unsure about loot drops.

So it seems: do Piety till eyes bleed, do maps that drop/trade themup and then go for exp once some degree of wealth is achieved.

Does that sound about right?

Run piety for 3 hours, document all drops
Run maps for 3 hours, document all drops
Compare.

Probably should have included your level when asking this.

Depending on how fast you run to and kill Piety, I would say just do map's with a friend or solo. Do like I do, when I get a map, I get 1 transmute and 5 alt's to roll it, if I get crap mod's every time, oh well, run it anyway, unless it's temp chains, fuck temp chains.
My character is a very under geared near pure self found level 73 summoner. Nothing flash but it seems to work thus far
piety all day every day for the rest of your life

Maps are far less boring imo

Plus when you get to 70+ you can finally start finding decent rares
