How rare are town portal gems?

Ive seen two drop in the past year and a half. One in closed beta, one in open.
Mostly I just use them when im farming. Lets me turn my extra portal scrolls into more wisdom scrolls. HAIL SATAN!

I had one drop yesterday from an urn in Catacombs. whoop whoop!

I had one drop with 18% quality on it a couple of weeks ago. Highest quality I've ever had drop on a gem and it had to be a damn portal gem :(

I've had 7 exalted orbs drop since open beta started, still no town portal gem.
It is very rare. |
