Blank screen on start up and crashing

After the game is launched. It launches it self in window native system res but while at the loading screen it supposedly gets minimized but the loading screen is still their. After minimizing and maximizing it you get to see the title screen with the ship on water but the picture is frozen. The ship or water does no move but you can move the mouse cursor just fine. After clicking on the screen a few times it just crashes without any sort of error. Relaunching the game yields to do the same thing. Anyone have any idea what is going on?

i also have blue screen first time when i tray login now after 2-3min

I figured out what it was but I have no idea on how to fix it. For some reason my FPS is at like literately at like 0 inside the game for some reason. Its going slower than molasses and you can see it move a few frames every time I double click window at top for full screen or windowed.
Also my OS is Windows 7 x64 SP1 |

All I can really suggest is updating your drivers for all software and checking your game for file corruption - Pack Check
If you have a Creative sound card, there is a thread on this forum to prevent blue screens of death. Balance & Design

So Pack Check comes back without any errors and my Drivers are all up to date as well. Since this is the case here am I screwed?
