I don't believe you will encounter any conflicts playing POE from a flash drive; however, do note that POE has a lot of loading to do, it's very likely you will wear out your flashdrive very quickly by frequently playing it from there.

" I believe what your talking about is write cycles not reading cycles. Flash drives have a limited amount of writing cycles so having the game load from the flash wouldnt have much effect on the drive's life span. | |

Do you mean a SSD? If yes, of course you will. I only have a SSD in my computer, and not even a HDD, and I didnt have any pb

You could run your entire OS + PoE off a flash drive, but the flash-drive might not like the heavy load of work.... flash memory is only good for a certain amount of reads and writes (its like paper, you can only erase it soo many times before the paper is complete garbage).
If you really wana keep PoE portable, it might be worth it for you to invest in a small portable hard-drive and buy or buy a small laptop HDD and put it in an enclosure for 10$... this way you have a dedicated physical drive.... I would imagine performance would be a bit better also.... | |
