I think I've worked out the kinks when it comes to point efficiency. Feel free to suggest changes and give reasons for them. Leveling With this shit - Start with the phys damage because low level because there's no danger. Afterwards move through the health at the start and push to Resolute Technique. Don't get Elemental Adaptation until much later when you have the resists to support it. I then move down and get Blood Drinker and Blood magic. Afterwards I follow the bottom of the tree to get Berserking and Armor master, waiting on getting Unwavering stance till I have Iron reflexes. I move up to troll blood and grab the health nodes and the endurance charge before moving over to get diamond skin and iron reflexes. Afterwards I go for the 18% health node on the right as well as the 5 other 8%s before I climb through the middle of the duelist getting those defensives. Afterwards its a slow crawl to spending to the rest of your points on 8% healths as well as the 30% evasion node. Have fun and please respond. |

I did go a pretty different way, but I don't know if it is viable anyhow. Will have a look into adepting it with some of your thoughts though. | |
111 point builds are pretty unrealistic.
Your build looks like a typical GS to me.' I was thinking why not making a elemental GS build for example: Alot of survivability with pretty of life nodes, life regen, AoE, resist, defense. You will be running Anger/Grace & if possible Wrath, link your GS with WEP, Added Fire & Melee Physical. | |
Just started playing the game two days ago, have been looking for a marauder GS or Sweep build to start of with. Both your and heatzz build looks tempting to try.

But since I lack any experience playing the game, have only played a few map nodes into act2 normal, it is ofc hard for me to know what will be good end game. What do you guys think of my linked build? It is intended for hardcore(but I will surely die before finishing the build :P) so tried to focus basically everythign on life. Also Heatzz if I might ask, saw in your build you took the armor passives in the beginning and also flask life instead of -30% enemy crit reduction. Would that be a good choice for my build also you think? I don't know how to value +armor and the flask life. | |
" Armor nodes are typical not of any used unless you have a very good armor rating gear or when you are running Iron Reflex with Grace which turns your evasion to armor. With the upcoming expected nerd of granite flask, armor nodes might be useful. Reduce crit multi aren't much useful in cbt, as there aren't much crit aura mobs but might be prove useful in obt since In alpha mobs are buff up. | |
Thanks for the reply, very informative. If I might ask another thing? Damage wise my build is lacking, if I should add some damage nodes to the build I linked which cluster is the most "bang for the buck"?
From what I can tell going for Slaughter close to the marauder start area is best per point invested? Grabbing slaughter would perhaps be a good way to add a little more damage to my build? Or perhaps those 5 points could be better spent some place else I have overlooked? | |
" Yup, your build is a good start but Armor Master is optional as most likely you will run 2h mace. That node is more useful for 1h+shield. |
