Did you check the folder's properties and permission settings? If everything seems to be ok (e.g. the folder is not in read-only mode and you have full administrative control) you can try to have it repaired by running chkdsk for a general analysis and chkdsk /r to give it permission to repair corrupted sectors. If everything fails, you can give third-party software like FileAssassin a try.
