FPS drops, Cast on Crit, EK, EK, Chain, SA? GGG answer in first post
GGG response (build currently doesn't function well within Path of Exile)
Spoiler
"concerning your build, whenever you critical with a split arrow, EVERY ARROW criticals. This also causes every arrow to create it's own set of Ethereal Knives. If you hit a large enough pack, this will cause a sudden increase in particle effects called by the game registry, let alone damage calculations done instantly on your computer, and thus can cause framerate drops.
Unfortunately, this build currently doesn't function well within Path of Exile, due to the sudden need to call a large amount of effects, and this can cause framerate spikes. We are improving effects and optimisation in increments where possible, and we are sorry to hear that you are having issues with this build." :( Original post

Appreciate any help I can get!
Running 6L with Split arrow, EK, EK, Cast on crit, LL and Chain. In 6-player party it's not possible to run two EK, even when I run solo test runs in docks and have a lot of mobs FPS drops to 5-20 for a second when I crit and kill them all at the same time. Computer spec: CPU Inteli7-3770K 3,50GHz, 16GB RAM, Geforce GTX 680, wired connection. I had WinMTR running last map I did in a party don't really know what it means so would really appreciate if someone could help with this. Unless it's something wrong with my computer I guess it has to be my internet messing it up in some way and there is package loss all over the place. But would that cause other players to lag as well?

" UPDATE#3 Dusted off Diablo 3 and tried playing it with highest settings, had the FPS fixed at 100FPS and FRAPS running, no FPS drops playing CM Wiz at all. Also tried Battleping while testing different options in PoE, no change. Running out of things to test. Last UPDATE before getting new monitor
Spoiler
I'm starting to suspect that my monitor is at fault how strange that even may sound.
I'm using a Apple Cinema 23" (old version) it has a refresh rate of 60Hz(59) and response time of 12ms (Atleast I think so). What monitors you guys use and what's the response time on those? I'm going to get Asus VG248QE 144hz 1ms TN 1080p in the next few days since It will be possible to upgrade it to the new G-Sync technology next year, when I see the outcome of that I will post it here in this thread! Also I have seen some improvement with these settings: 1680X1050 (even tho my monitor has native 1920X1200) VSync: off Shadows: off Antialiasing: off Texture Q: Medium Texture F: Trilinear Post P: off Screen S: off In Nvidia controll panel I made a profile for PoE with: Triple buffering: On And Vsync: : On (works better than ingame Vsync, still problem in large packs of monsters tho) Last edited by Henry_GGG on Dec 8, 2013, 2:03:37 AM

Trying with --nosound, low settings (Vsync on, off, off, medium, trilinear filtering, off, off) can see some improvement IMO but when I gather up a large pack of mobs like 18+ monsters and blast them in one crit (two EK triggers) it's still choppy. Will try lower resolution and party play but I still want to play this build with sound and good quality! Help!
