I would be more active in the forum but there is only so much I can say without actual game experience. I am sure this is a common notion. From my experience playing Eve, I can tell you that forum posting is not an indicator of activity. A Beta is about testing the client, not the forum. The forum is just a medium for discussing the state of the game. It takes players to make an active game forum. So why have obstacles in the way of progress just for the sake of having obstacles? The timer is far too long.
