Not able to install

Well it's been happening for awhile now, for different games and I've got some support but not a lot of help. The most help I've got with this was to install a previous version so i will be able to update to the newest one. I did that with king Arthur's gold and it worked. Well the problem here is that it keeps on telling me i need to be on the local hard drive but i'm already in it. Well if you can't figure out the problem, I would like a previous version of Path of Exile please :).

Run the installer with Admin rights. Run the installer not from desktop.

I've already done that and it didn't work :(
