[0.9.13] Kripparrian's SweepTemplar Build

dunno why would he get evasíon gear. instead of lets say full str or str int waste of like 30-40 points imo

alright, i decided to give it a try in the last couple of days.

levelling up is actually pretty easy. i played it as a sweeper from the beginning, rushed resolute technique, then unwavering stance and iron reflexes. as soon as you have the latter, you can run determination and grace combined, giving you about 60-70% dmg reduction, which should easily get you through cruel and merciless difficulty despite a relative lack of life. after you got inner force, put a couple of points into life nodes and farm the ledge and fellshrine up to ~lv65 (or even 70, if you want vaal pact immediately with CI), then respec out of those and get CI and ghost reaver.

the only absolute necessity for levelling this way seems to be life on hit gem. a good 2h-weapon will speed things up, but isn't actually that important - i didn't have any gear stashed and played selffound style apart from the LoH-gem.

gearing up after CI, however, is a lot harder. good ES-gear (especially chests) is crazy expensive, and after the CI-nerf you won't get far with crappy ES gear. gonna farm for better gear (and a higher level - you're just not leeching fast enough without vaal pact) and see how it turns out. just specced into CI and got only 1900 ES with discipline -.- i think it's still viable, but you need a lot better gear to pull it off.

why this build dont pick "unnatural claim"? 15% shield looks nice, what its exactly the 15% ES cooldown reduction and its really that bad for us? Im playing a build really similar but using unarmed for damage :/
