Gender would be a nice addition to the game.

I don't really mind not being able to choose. But I think if you could choose your characters gender the game would be more popular.
I know a ton of idiots who don't play good games just because of that. I mean you cant go wrong with giving the players more choice right? :) Thoughts anyone? This thread has been automatically archived. Replies are disabled.

This has been brought up a number of times before; the main objection to it is that there are more urgent things for them to work on. The amount of art and animation work required is essentially that of making six new character classes, so the amount of time it would take would be roughly six times the elapsed time between the release dates for the Templar and Shadow classes; voice acting wouldn't make it take any longer due to different skill sets, but it would add to the cost.
