Should offline mode be $60 in MTX points?

I dont know if its possible but make it a different .exe so online client can't be hacked, therefore everyone who wants offline single player self found can have it.

But at a cost that will benefit GGG

no
just wondering why no?

Also I wouldnt play offline mode, just saying theres people who want it and it should come at a cost if its made available.

Big fat no.
interesting idea, but many people paid a lot more than $60 - and didn't get offline mode.

for example, if one copy of the game costs $60, Charan should get a personal PoE server, housed inside a villa that looks like Solaris Temple.
Alva: I'm sweating like a hog in heat
Shadow: That was fun
I guess I wasn't clear enough, it should be $60 worth of MTX points, but I don't really see what other people donating money to a game has to do with purchasing a MTX or just purchasing an offline mode.

That would kinda be like saying Jinx shouldn't be selling PoE shirts because they're for donators/people who completed the challenges and its unfair to the donators/challenge completers because now everyone can have a shirt.

(I also personally think the Jinx shirt is the coolest looking one out of all the shirts they've had.)

That would be 60$ to get every single customization item in the game. And offline client would be easily moddable and no one would ever again consider to do any microtransaction after getting this client.
Especially since these people prefer offline mode anyways.

There are technical problems as well the client is designed to be online it would mean a huge load of work for GGG to even realize this idea, an idea that would actually harm their business.
No. This would undermine their business model and it would be non trivial to separate the client server code to create a single player executable. Will not happen.
Fair enough

But I said $60 because I haven't gotten more than 40 hours of gameplay on any AAA $60 title in recent years

But I've wracked up hundreds of hours in this game

I'm not against an offline mode but I think the effort required for GGG to make the code so different that it can't be used to cheat online would be cost-prohibitive, to say the least.

Also, we all know that their *only* source of income are mtxes, which rely on the online-only model for rotation, sales, etc. Once you make an offline version, people will have problem pirating it.
