I hope not. "Map only" drop's shouldn't even exist imho. Map runs are not that fun and rewarding if you play solo+selffound like I do. You will never get into high level maps this way, at least if you don't play 24/7.
It would not be fair that you can't find certain items by your own if you don't run maps, and especialy high level maps (never seen a level 70+ map by myself).

Khem look once again at 1st page. Btw Sinner Tricorne has nothing with dropping Alpha Howl. Game first decide if item is unique, then it decide what unique is it. You probably think that game first decides the type, then the rarity, but rarity is decided at first.

In my opinion unique drops in maps only are ok. As long as there are only few drops like that. But GGG should state the required ilvl of items or minimum ilvl of map. However the fact that there is no new Kaom's drop yet is a bit dumb.

As long as the base item of the unique dropps in the area you are in, the unique counter part can drop. so many people are talking mambo jambo jibberish

This isn't true anymore. 1.0.0 Patch changed some uniques to only drop inside maps.
