There is only 4 status ailments; burning, chilled, frozen, and shocked. Chaos damage doesn't have one.

What's the crit strike effect for physical damage?
Chaos isn't an element, just like physical isn't an element. Closed Beta/Alpha Tester back after a 10-year hiatus.

Chaos damage ignores armor/ES. That always ignores armor/ES. I'd say this is plenty powerful.

I wasn't even aware that DoTs could crit in this game, thought they were just unavoidable (outside of CI) damage that breeches most defenses.
If it could crit, maybe HP/Mana Regen reduction for a time? Duno... |

" Chaos is not limited to DoTs. Also, crits on DoTs take effect when the DoT is applied, causing the DoT to deal greater damage. You do more initial phys damage on a puncture crit, and that damage reflects in the DoT. |
