You won't have much crit chance to start out with so it's more efficient to start out with cast speed :)

This will be my build if i want to take CI, but i am not so sure about it. maybe i will go without CI.

Does "critical strike" apply to to spells? O.o If so, why there are "critical strike with spells" points?

Because Critical Strike applies to melee and spells and Critical Strike with Spells only applies to spells.

That is correct, just confirming :)

So how are you guys gonna up your spell dmg significantly? im walking around with crappy dmg and weapon ele dmg doesnt apply to spells :(... do +% cold dmg stats work?

I don't understand this. Don't spells all have a base crit chance, and the only way to improve that is with passive nodes?

I have in mind 2 builds that are very similar

1st one is a bit more offensive



and 2nd one is a bit more defensive with ghost reaver (although i am not sure if it is going to help me stay alive)


I am not taking Zealot's oath in neither build since i am not convinced it will help at this time.
