Experience radius?

wow is a whole new beast. in a game like this i assume it will be more like diablo where you can just exit and make a new instance instantly where in wow that took time. i personally do not want the ability to kick anyone nor do i want them to be able to kick me. boot from group is fine

People have commented that their friends complain if one player is getting more experience than the others - is this a major problem that turns players off or just a few people complaining but still enjoying themselves?

I've had it both ways. A few of my friends won't play Diablo II with us because of this reason. It forces them to move at the same pace as the rest of the group, so hanging behind just for a moment to look at a loot drop completely throws them off and then they just don't have fun playing with us.

My other friends still play and still have fun, but it's the same annoyance we all experience. They're just more tolerable.

I would be most in favor of being in the same zone, but not being AFK. Someone that isn't AFK but trying to leech will just get bored and want to help fight anyway.
i do not have a problem with buddy leveling or power-leveling.

the devs ultimately control how much buddy/power leveling is possible with the player/mob level ranges. they could also add killer/party level range modifiers to further control the xp flow.

since devs have said there -is- a party kick , unwelcome xp leeching is a nonissue.
if they set it up so that you can immediately murder anyone not in your party you could just kill the player you abandoned to get rid of them :) . sure it might be nice to give them a chance to leave or not , depends on the situation.
*ignore/block function is your --friend-- *

timed instance boot after leaving party could be good.

i want limited distance for receiving xp. risk&reward : be with the team to 'get paid' or go fight on your own.

First, be smart from the very beginning. Pulverize all teeth, burn off fingerprints, and disfigure the face. Forcing a DNA test to establish identity (if it ever comes to that) might introduce the legal/forensic hurdle that saves your ass down the line. An unidentifiable body can, in a pinch, be dressed in thrift store clothes and dropped in a bad part of town where the police are less likely to question it. I don't reommend that disposal method, I'm just saying an easily identifiable body is an even bigger threat than the opposite.
Necromancer "ipuosittou" is back it seems.
