Move to Steam!

As I have understod it, PoE will be available on Steam on release.
Will I be able to merge my PoE Account and Steam account?
So that I can log on with my Steam account and still have access to my current characters and stash.

I guess you will be able to login in your current Account without any problems.

You'll likely start the client in Steam and get to the same login screen as of now.

I haven't played in a while, waiting for the official release.
Does it make sense to unintall the game and reinstall it via steam once its released?

I think if u dont want 2nd install of poe u need to add it non-steam game or remove it first and install it trough steam. Login surely happens like before or does it :O ?

now:
1. click on path of exile icon on your deksktop, it will run game (pathofexile.exe)

with steam
1. open steam
2. click on path of exile on steam games list, it will run game (pathofexile.exe)

You don't need new poe account. But you will have to download game again if you are using steam (or do trick with moving files from poe folder to steam games folder)
