We players want an auction house

I don't think "Auction House" is the right term to be throwing around. It'd be awesome to have some sort of separate trading map players could join. Imagine a huge bizarre map (multiple instances to separate players, just like how towns work) where players could set up shops with items for sale and could maybe also pay a fee (in the microtransactions) to have a semi-permanent shop they could keep int he bizarre while they're out leveling - perhaps a 24-hour shop, 7-day shop etc.

I would love to see GGG make a trading market more visual and where the players can literally walk around and socialize / trade in a fun manner.

But yea, no to Auction House..

Either there should be an auction house, or trade should be removed completely. This current system -- if it can be called that -- is just plain daft. Trade is prohibitively time consuming so nothing but the most expensive items is marketable.

Right now what we have is the equivalent of an auction house where the minimum posting price is around one exalted. There's no reason that the entire trade system should be designed so uber-rare items have a robust market and everything else is vender trash.

All or nothing. That's what I want.

Nice job posting, what, 5 people who agree? Let this thread speak for itself (I think the consensus is fairly obvious).

I don't want an auction house -- it utterly ruined Diablo III which I played extensively (until I found Path of Exile). They are removing it for the expansion. There is a good reason why.

However, I would like to see some upgrades to player-to-player trading, like a mailbox. That would be cool.

How about we quote all the people who say no to this in your post as well?

DO NOT PUT AN AUCTION HOUSE IN THIS GAME.

Even Blizzard knows it was a mistake and is REMOVING the D3 AH. Even the gold based one.

It's a death sentence.
