I don't know what league you are playing in, but being oneshot by high phys monsters isn't a priority of mine. I like having 4500hp+ when playing 1h/shield so even if Vuln. Kole stuns and double smashes you, with some luck you can get away.
And I also like being able to take one vaal smash, due to desync.

I play standard. This build should not be used for hardcore unless you have uber gear and good reflexes.

With Arctic armour + determination + armour base items I have never one shotted my self so far.
A few times I actually used critical weakness (a 20/20 99% more critical damage) and got a critical hit but I lived to tell the tale.

EK has low range, its extremely hard to miss the reflect monster. All you need to do is switch weapons and spam it until it dies.

You are not suppose to spam attack with your main weapons/shield on a reflect physical monster.

With the current setup you have time to react. This is also the reason that I don't use cast speed on amulet and rings. Slower attacks give you time to react. Stacking STR increase damage and life also, so its balanced.

Currently the build has 190% increase health. You can drop some nodes and get more life.
Also my gear is really not that uber but all my items have life on them.
