Off Topic - Auction Houses going from D3... - Forum

No AH, no RMAH, from Feb 2014. More here:http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/blog/10974978/diablo-iii-auction-house-update-17-09-2013 " it became increasingly clear that despite the benefits of the AH system and the fact that many players around the world use it, it ultimately undermines Diablo's core game play: kill monsters to get cool loot. With that in mind, we want to let everyone know that we've decided to remove the gold and real-money auction house system from Diablo III. We feel that this move ... will result in a much more rewarding game experience for our players. So, anyone still think they should be implemented in PoE? If Blizzard, with all its userbase, cannot get one to work and has finally decided it harms gameplay? Looking for a mature guild to play with? http://www.guildmedieval.com Courtesy, Integrity, Fair Play. Well, those being in the off-topic forum would explain why I didn't see anything here. But given all the discussions we've had over whether PoE should be introducing an AH , I feel it's on-topic. Remember, "everyone" on a forum agrees with "everyone" on "everything", both for and against at the same time. the day the AH leaves D3, there will be just as many whine threads about people having no chance to upgrade their gear as there are currently are about upgrading your gear being trivial. Both at BNet, and here. #1 rule of official forum boards of every video game ever: use the forums to relay info, gather suggestions, or the rare narrow-focused Poll; but NEVER as "feedback". #2 rule: Never say the #1 rule in an official capacity. Let some guy on the forums say it, leaving yourself plausible deniability.
