D3 AH/RMAH is getting permanently shut down

Seems like Blizzard finally figured out that AH in D3 wasnt such a good idea.

using the existing thread is too much to ask for hm?

It won't be down for 6 months until March of 2014.

i liked the gold auction house - very timesaving
and i think after the auction house is gone many people will realize how convenient the auction house was

- no need to look in hundereds of threads -> time saving
- better overview to compare all prices for an specific item
- no scamming danger
- no need to meet ingame / no wait time till the seller comes online
and so on

this looks really promising

Too bad it comes after 2 years of the game being released when people have been telling this to blizz since closed beta ...
