New item - Eternal Box - Receive random goodies by % chance

Absolutely don't see the point of adding a new drop that drops drops that already drop in game.

Well if you absolutely cant understand the point, why this box would be good , let me enlighten you a bit, i hope i do have the strenght in order to do so.


There are tons of rich ppl arround, that are hoarding exalt orbs in masses. 100 exalt easy, 200 exalt easy , 300 exalt its getting warmer, etc etc.



So, what this incredible Eternal Box does is adding another Gambling chance in the Game wich is also a sellable and tradeable item.


Rich person A buys for 4 exalted orb an eternal box from poor person B , cuz he is feeling lucky and absolutly sure, that he is able to pull a Mirror out of it ( for example ). So what the point of this ? Well, rich person A opens the box, receives an Divine Orb and not the expected Mirror, so he lost lets say 3 exalt and 1 divine in total value but had his gambling chance.
Person B is kinda happy that he sold the box and not opened it, since he needs all dem exalts as a poor starter guy.




Or Lets discuss a different scenario.

Poor person B opens the box, since he is an adventurer and explorer, taking the risk for fun. YoloMode. What he pulled is an Mirror of Kalandra. Great justice Won.







I dont say, that the dropable items wich i mentioned above are optimal, neither the % chance values wich i have given, but the basic concept of this idea could be very interesting, and as you mentioned, if GGG wanted, they could even add special items wich are only gainable via these eternal boxes and used for other purposes.



Insteand of Making Razer Footprints, basicly avaible for everyone for free, they could have put it in the Eternal Box, letting ppl gamble in order to get these footprints. I think we need some more ways to make ppl stop hoarding all shit exalts untill they have 3000 of them and dont know what to do next

Percentages should be lower. But....

Add some sort of mini quest. Kill boss for key or in order to use it you must use orb of chance. You could make a good pull or win something like a transmutation orb.

What exactly is the point of this? All of those items have a chance to drop already. It doesn't add anything new, unless you propose that it be craftable, which would be pretty broken.
We should make all drops boxes, and then you open it later. For example "White box" will drop with chance to drop an item as follows:

Amulet:1%
Ring:1%
Belt:1%
Chest:35%
Weapon:35%
Boots:9%
Gloves:9%
Helm:9%

Additionally as applies:
6 Socket: .1%
5 Socket: 1%
4 Socket: 5%
3 Socket: 20%
2 Socket: 33.9%
1 Socket: 40%

Sounds pretty great right?

So the 'poor' guy had a drop equally rare as a Eternal Orb? To sell it for Exalteds?
So Instead of the Box he could have had an Eternal Orb which he use or sell.

Only point to this thing I see is that more people get Mirrors. Lots of people find Eternal Orbs, so lots of people would find the Box. And 1 in 100 is not rare. If 2000 people find a box there could be 20 mirrows flying around.
