Wow. That is some sick shit. I envy that considering i have some major trouble with phys reflect. How do you counter it? I couldn't really see what gems you had linked in your reave, was life leech one of them? Also how high was your dps? I have around 24k, with fully buffed (death rush/charges). If i put on Abyssus I get 41k. With 24k i have a bit of difficulty on reflect maps. It'd be great if you gave me a hand in how you pulled this off. (I'm assuming life leech gem but i couldnt read links)

it rly always comes down to what gear you use how much crit dmg you have how much armor you have and how much max ES do you have. however as long as you dont have life leech on your amulet you'll have to run life leech on your 6l. i stoped using ADDED fire since monsters tend to run away too much if i do so (ignite is like fear).

what i found out works pretty well on reflect maps is going for DS + melee splash :)

i dont like using LS since im 100% sure, this would cause even more troubles :) esp. since now ele reflect does nothing to me.

Passive skill tree build

My current passive tree at level 95. Biggest change is I no longer use power charges, sitting at 85% crit chance without them they are not really needed. Instead I use the two blue sockets for Incr Critical Damage + Incr AOE. Incr AOE is an AWESOME gem for Reave, imo even superior to Incr Citical Damage.

yes increased aoe is superior to crit dmg.

esp. when you have a top tier weapon.

i can deffinitely vouch for increased AOE. Replace power charges with crit with it, i deal no less damage for so much more AOE.

Yea when thinking about it's a pretty op gem lol. You get 43% increased AOE at 20/20 with no drawback e.g. damage reduction. Still, melee AOE sucks big time compared to any ranged skill with chain :D

Drawback is mana cost increase (150%). It isnt even near to OP, just nice gem when you need exactly THAT bonus. Same with Chain gem.
You may also consider taking AoE nodes in Witch area, if you like increased AoE so much...

reave will get a minor buff in the next patch, if you are not lazy enough you can get powercharges by using a 2nd reave (without loosing stacks).

i will use

lvl 1 reave + PCOC + curseonhit + enfeeble(or whatever curse) for it.
so i can get stacks while also cursing enemys XD

anyone found out a use for vaal reave yet?
