How much ES did you oneshot yourself through, and how much resist did you have?
Seeing as the fire damage will be much bigger than the cold damage due to hatred being a bit of a waste here, why not just pop a Ruby Flask for reflect mobs?

And were the enemies cursed to lower fire and/or cold resist?

This is an example of people underestimating utility flasks.
Almost all of your damage is Chaos Lightning (this is what i'm going to call converted to chaos while retaining original status ailments). Your physical damage is so low that hatred provides very little buff (to the point where you shouldn't use hatred), but in exchange for that you're getting more frequent and longer lasting shocks.

Because of not taking reflected Chaos Lightning damage, and your cold damage coming ONLY from stuff you have on gear, the only reflect threat is fire, because of Anger.

So to cope with this, you use powerful curses that don't weaken elemental resists (but still provide a similar or superior damage benefit), and pop a ruby flask. The majority of incoming reflected fire damage is now pitiful.

Oh, and were you using Zealot's Oath and did you have any Projectile Speed?
Because piercing hits are in sequence, not all at once, so slower arrows with higher regen does make a difference.

ZO + little to no projectile speed + ruby flask = good to go.

I like the new bow. It's a cool item and neat effect. It helps against elemental reflects, but doesnt help against lightning thorns which is op as fuck anyways (can we get a max/sec proc rate on that thing).
