If they didn't have the challenge of lvling every class to 60 lvling would be super dead, check out thousands of lvl 60 on onslaught and stopping at that point lol

That seriously had good impact on onslaught.

I think the people who made out huge where the people charging for every boss kill in norm, and cruel. Must have made a fn killing just to kill brutus and merv, vaal. People are lazy. I was one of them. But I will say also every dude I lvl to 60 I made a exalt + total and traded it to anarchy for double so it wasn't bad either.

Brutus is still super desync mode on any turbo even the mini turbo they had. Kinda only disappointing thing I found on onslaught. When that league is over every HC player is gonan noticed how easy regular HC is now. If they don't next league make it mini turbo again will be a little bit of a downfall nerf and just seem to easy.

Nice to know its's win/win for both anarchy and onslaught players.

Nope, Onslaught is doing fine.

It doesn't matter if it's dying or not. The game doesn't officially go live until October. Everything before then is just testing and fun anyway. There's not a ton of incentive for people to make it to the end of Onslaught with that in mind.

But yes, Onslaught is the superior league, but will always have the fewest (or second fewest) players because 1. It's a Ladder, and resets regularly. And 2. It's hardcore. The only league that will have less players than it in general is regular Hardcore, because most of those players are the type that will play Onslaught instead.

Smaller players is good though. It makes for a better economy, along with the benefits that HC already brings to an economy.

Anarchy has some interesting things with the Exiles, so if you want play that now, but Onslaught will have that too next season so it's probably worth playing both to get used to both for the next Onslaught.

Oh noo, next league would have all mini ggg staff over the place to try to catch, mother rhoas to offer feathers and a lot of pets to chase and put on different battle arenas..

Next leagues ?

Well, would :

NON HC + 40% harder
HC + exiles (50% easier exiles, cuz exiles are ridiculous sometimes ) + famine
HC + BLAMT + only a maximum amount of time playing allower per week
..

If you think that the next HC league would be only : ONLS + Exiles.. i think you are wrong!

IMO someone who wants to play hardcore won't quit Onslaught to Anarchy just because there is more people in softcore and his wealth might be in "danger" because too many supply and not enough demand. I won't...

The game is.

Onslaught simply started to become pretty boring because they havent released any new content since OB launched. The newly implemented skills are borderline useful, Incinerate probably being the best ...which says a lot.

By now people have replayed the content multiple times again, chained Shrines and Shipyards, probably even died and couldnt be bothered to reroll for the exact same mobs again. Personally I dont see a reason to play the game right now and hope that they will add new content (part of act 3, skills, nodes) in November and hopefully a new motivating league.

Due to the lack of PVP the game simply doesnt offer a lot of replayability anymore once you hit 90 (on multiple characters) and tried out multiple builds.

There are supporter packs out there which let you create new monsters.

Maybe those monsters will find their way into the new 4 month leagues... who knows ;)

Hello all. I would like to preface this topic by saying it is not intended to be a doom and gloom type of thread. It's simply my search for clarification.

I have never really played hardcore. Before Anarchy and Onslaught came out I was just another Standard player, who then moved onto Anarchy. I now feel I am ready to tackle Onslaught and enjoy the challenge it has brought many of you, but I am concerned.

Lately, I have seen a few people saying that Onslaught is a dying difficulty and that people should try and transfer their wealth off as soon as possible.

Is there any truth to this? I was under the impression that Onslaught is a thriving community of hardcore players that isn't in any danger of shrinking away to nothing, but these rumors have me concerned like I mentioned. I don't want to start on Onslaught only to find out that the community has been jumping ship.

Could you Onslaught veterans please enlighten me as to the true state of the league? I'd appreciate it.

Both Onslaught and Anarchy leagues will die at the end of October 7th (end of the 4 month leagues).

Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration.

the problem with onslought is that it is too easy. the little increase in mob attack/move speed isn't even noticeable anymore in my opinion. The only time I notice the increased speed is when playing regular races. The game feels like being in slow motion, and as a result, far too easy.

besides, giving content only to default players was a pretty bad decision.
