GGG What was your point creating the eternal orb? it s dam too rare to be useful

They are so rare people are selling them +3ex in standard.
Soon it will be cheaper to buy a 6l than getting those dam orbs.

Why their drop rate isn t more like a gcp even a chaos? At least make it more common in softcore because at this rate, Eternal will just become the new orb to hoard instead of being useful.

Have been wondering for a while what GGG's intention was when they introduced that orb. If they wanted to create an additional orb sink by encouraging people to fuse/chaos their gear they utterly failed because of eternal's rarity.
I consider it a mild beta failure.

But yeah seriously. Eternal Orb drop rates are way to rare. We were promised something to help craft 6Ls since devs refuse to make Jewls/Fusings that go up only not down in the number of sockets/links and then they make it almost as rare as getting a 6L themselves!! I for one would give up the ability to keep affixes and just keep sockets/links so that I could try and craft stuff rather than trade/buy stuff.

BTW.. most the people who say "Play hardcore..." are really just people making a profit and they dont play hardcore.. they just want to sound like they are "hardcore".

eternals are only useful for those with 200 exalt + of net wealth.

It's too rare. I think it's the main reason why exalt price started to fall. People just don;t have eternals to use exalts, so they sell exalts to get eternals. Eternals are now, what exalts were few weeks ago. Means nobody wants to sell eternal, everybody wants to buy it. Soon 1 eternal = 10 exalts, unless GG do something with it. It's should be easier to get than exalt because it's usefull in more ways (fusing, save sockets before mirror), or at least as hard as exalt.

Apparently they were created to enable existence of ilvl 13 6-link uniques, but nobody seems to care about that :).

Actually the introduction of eternal orb allowed scammers to fool people with rares aswell, go figure.
