[OSX] Unofficial Path of Exile port - 30/12/2018 status update

Playing 4.0.2 and loving the legible fonts. However, the game crashes whenever there is a significant number of animations running, most notably on piety at the end of act 3. I had to level up to 42 in normal in order to do enough damage to kill her in the 2 or 3 minute window before my game crashed. Is there anything I can do to fix this? I'm already playing on the lowest possible settings.

Haha I'm confused. I posted the entirety of both last run logs from wine tools. Is there another log I need to post the last line from?
I just downloaded the game, and I can get to the login screen, but the back ground is black save the PoE logo and the login box. If i login in, I can get to the character select but everything is black except for the menu bar at the bottom. I tried changing the settings(turn off shadows) but then it say applying settings please wait, foreverrr. I tried looking up similar problem but had no luck, any fixes?
I was having issues with previous releases, but 4.0.2 is spot on for me, thanks!

Any tips to improve performance on an older machine? I've already put everything to the lowest setting in the options menu.
You can edit ./Documents/My Games/Path of Exile/production_Config.ini and change texture_quality to be 1-5, 1 being the best, 5 being very blocky. 1-2 are the only ones available to change in game.

I run on 3 and it helped some.

the 1st one with the fixme:d3d:resource_check_usage Unhandled usage flags 0x8. message spam. From that log, there should be more on the end. There is no crash in provided the logs.

I don't think those logs give a clear cause of crash. The logs are the right ones, but something seems to be missing.

Go to Options (ingame) and uncheck Post processing.

Not much I'm afraid. Turn to lowest resolution you think is acceptable. Also quit any other programs, like browser and instant messaging app.
I continue to see client.exe crashing under high amounts of spell effects. Is this specific to the mac client or does it happen on the windows client as well? Not sure if i should bother submitting a bug report on it.
