Lower ping to EU than NA?

I'm on the west coast, yesterday I was getting 70ms while logging in with the NA gateway, but today I'm getting 180ms stable. I get 160ms using EU and 200ms using Indonesia gateway.

My connection is stable, I just seem to be pinging high to the NA gateway. Is this a POE problem? Or is there something I can do to find out if there's something on my end?

I'd like some answers too as I have a similar problem but with the singapor server
values are way higher though
You can run a winMTR reading to find out where the latency is coming from. Here are instructions from Thomas on how to do so!

You can download WinMTR from here:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/winmtr/files/

To use it just run the appropriate exe (32 bit or 64 bit), enter the hostname in the "Host" box, and click start.

Once the "Sent" column shows at least 50 click "Copy Text to clipboard", and paste the results into an email to support@grindinggear.com (you can then just close WinMTR).

- Edit
I would like you to get output for the game server you are currently connnected to. To get the server's IP, go to the folder you installed PoE in and open the "logs" subfolder, then open the "Client.txt" file. The file will probably be quite large, but scroll to the bottom and find the last occurance of this line:

2012/03/27 10:33:25 3917590 50 [INFO Client 3768] Connecting to instance server at 127.0.0.1:12345

In this example the server is 127.0.0.1 (do NOT test with that IP though, it's just an example). Use the IP you find there in WinMTR in the "Host" box.
- End edit

Thanks if you're able to do this, if you have any problems with it let me know.
Balance & Design
Ok I'll do it once I get an usual ping, it's 400 now instead of 800.
Is there an ETA for an answer ?
It's a bit annoying to try to do the race with a steady 400 - 500 ms :/

Having this problem. Terrible latency spikes and sudden disconnects. In combat, in town, very intermittent disconnects but almost constant latency spikes. Using F1 I can monitor and see that my latency spikes from 33 up to over 900. Here is the report from following the recommended instructions:
