You. You're not even online. Why aren't you online? You're disturbing the peace here.

80 points for level 60 and fill in the rest with whatever you deem appropriate as well as any extra attribute points you might need. 1% HP per second in the ranger start area is also a fantastic choice, as is the mana regen one next to it.

Man. This build works BETTER from ranger than shadow. Ugh.

Well I can confirm, rerolled my ranger with this build (btw many thanks for your patience to my noob questions) :D It is great, easy to build on a tight budget (since life is cheaper than ES, and the only unique u really need is relatively cheap as well). If you have currency can always go bringer of rain (what I just did) to have practically a 7link - still, not even necessary.

The only thing I would worry about is getting stunned quite often (I got about 2.4k hp), but I guess that can be avoided by more frequent spam of granite flask when engaging a big hard hitting pack.

So far after 2 days of farming maps and lunaris died just once and it said I suicided lol :D Still don't know how that happened. Can confirm easy facetanking brutus, his clones and blacksmith. Even all the rogues i've met so far.

Mana leech on items definitely necessary. Personally found 2% to be too little, 4% is much more convenient.

Also noticed that some chaos resistance definitely helps to deal with dmg from blood rage, also currently testing blood dance boots (scales well with frenzy stacks) - gives me more % per sec regen than blood rage does dmg heh. Then again, hp flask can do the same, but like i said i cba to spam my flasks so often :)

Overall I expected worse lol, this is a great build!
This build rocks. 70 maps not that tough so far with 2.6k health (after bm'd grace)
Bump for interest
I'm looking forward to fooling around with Reave, although my guess is that it'll be just marginally more effective than cyclone, and that dual splash will still be better.

I have a question here.
Does the [vaal pact]on bloodseeker applies to both claws when hit with dual strike?
It says: "the leech from hits with this weapon applies instantly"
While when I dual strike, I hit with both weapons, will the damage and leech caused by the other weapon as well be counted in the same 'hit' and benefit from the [vaal pact]on bloodseeker?
IGN: MidNightess
Yup. Seems to work that way for me. I tank hits from map bosses to about 20% HP, then in the next 3-4 attacks I get back to 100% HP before they attack me again. And it's always instant. I have high aps.

Bloodseeker needs to be on the mainhand though. If it's on the offhand, the effect never applies.

Is this where I admit that I've actually been using cyclone since release, tried out dual splash for a couple of maps, and hated it?

=p

The original points all stand. I still prefer cyclone. Any questions?

The build is more a bird of prey than an area killer. It's a different gameplay. I consider it like a tactical killer and support troop.

I use 2*dual strike with splash with stunt+coldmage and another one with /fast attack+ with frenzy+accuracy. You need also some other skills to quickly gain frenzy charges. Trap, Poison arrow, etc...
I'm testing...

It's a difficult build to level. You get one-shot easily.
