PATH OF EXILE ON PS3/PS4

Console players are too stupid for poe. Unable to build a pc only dumb enough to buy a ps4 at walmart
Meta = cattle

-ty men
I spot a port-to-console topic! Is it going to be filled with bickering between the arrogant PC mustard race putting down anybody who dares have different tastes than they do and naive console players who don't realize what a travesty porting PoE to a console would be? Welp, prophecy fulfilled.
FYI: It's not a fantasy story, it's a cosmic horror story.
Count me as both.

I looked at my step son's Xbox controller that he hooks up to my PC to play Team Fortress 2 on Steam. It seems to have enough buttons to simulate the mouse and keyboard. I am not sure how well a thumb stick can simulate the control of a decent gaming mouse however.

It can't.

If your son can match the accuracy of a mouse/keyboard on his controller, you might want to look into sending him to medical school. That's some brain-surgeon level of manual dexterity.

Spoiler
But, I'm not sure I'd want a filthy console player operatin on deez lobes. OHHHHHHHHH

I am trying to slowly convert him into a pc gamer. I haven't ever tried using his controller on a game, but that is because I feel a decent 1k plus DPI has to be better than even the most high end control pad.

It wouldn't be worth it.

Trying to navigate the Skilldrasil with a controller would be a nightmare.

Pretty much a moot point. It's fairly clear that GGG are a committed PC developer with precisely one game on their table.

It is a mistake to think of them as a 'normal' developer looking to expand to other platforms if they're not even thinking about expanding to other games on the platform they know best.

Navigating the tree would be a nightmare.

There are some games that are totally better with a controller, though. Dark Souls 2 is absolutely unplayable without one. Not that I'd recommend playing Dark Souls 2. It's a straight-up bad game.

The way I do it: Anything that's a first person shooter or a point-n-click gets a mouse. Any game I can use a controller with, I do.

What part isn't bad? The atrocious camera, the fucking stupidly large hitboxes, the fact that basically every part of the game takes place on some kind of ledge, the absolutely horrid enemy placement, the dialogue that sounds like it was voiced by three bored teenagers, the incomplete at best port-job to the PC, the unintuitive menu system, the uninspired boss battles (dodge, dodge, hit. Dodge, Dodge, hit. I'M HAVING FUNNNN), or the boring-as-fuck gear?

Look me in my eyes when I say this. Three out of ten. *mic drop*
