Beta Key Clarification

So, when the timer shows my name it will pm me the beta key w/out me having to log in? I don't get how it works.. will I have to be online to receive the beta key?

You don't have to be online. It atomically makes your account a beta account unless you are already one, in which case you receive a pm with a key

So why do people care so much about the timer? Even if your names on it w/out you knowing, you'd still get it no?

No it doesnt PM you the beta key it instantly makes your acount a beta acount wich enables you to download the game.

How will I know that I received the invite? Does it say somewhere, 'YOU ARE NOW A BETA ACCOUNT'?
