you're probably not counting crit from power charges. 8 power charges = 400% crit chance = 32% crit.

I'm actually at 86% or 89% when I checked yesterday counting power charges. I've been using increased crit chance instead of increased area and so far its been doing very well. It's actually quite a bit less mana as well which makes a difference because of voll's.

Added a slower safer build tree that uses Eye of Chayula.

If I wanted to do maps with this build what should change. Should I go CI? What gear would you recommend? I'm kind of new to this game and I have only played about 3 characters so far.

How do you fight chaos dmg ? When I have a low life, it just kills in 1-2 seconds.

As the OP stated, if he goes into maps, he would go CI. There is another option, however, that requires more specific gear. It is possible to go low life in maps, but one needs to have decent health (300-400 health at low life), and decent chaos resist. This coupled with a life regen totem makes it possible to tackle chaos mobs in maps.

To do lowlife in maps you need 1k life post reservation. Or just get a shavronne's.

I see what you're saying, but I have been doing maps with chaos mobs in them. I only have 400 life post reservation. But I did stack chaos resist on gear/tree, and I pop a life regen totem if I see a chaos mob always.

Shavronnes is uncessary in my case

Go CI. You'll need the 20% more mana node to run purity and discipline.

Helm - High ES rare
Chest - Volls
Amulet - Volls
Ring - Rare
Ring - Dream Fragments
Boots - Rainbowstride
Belt - Rare or Perandus Blazon
Glove - High ES Rare
Shield - High ES Rare
Wand - Void Battery preferably or Divinarius

I did some maps over the weekend (up to 71). Easy maps were super easy. Anything with -max res, ele reflect, ele weakness was much slower.

There was also one map (70 or 71) with ele weakness, ele reflect, double boss.....that map was a pain in the ass but I didn't die. It just took forever.

I'm back to doing Lunaris. The map xp was rather slow because I had to play at the pace of the group while solo I can play at my own pace which is MUCH faster. Not to mention, the loot was horrible.

Its in the original thread near the bottom. I use mana leech with FP and increase crit chance instead of increase area for Discharge. Those are the only differences.
