It's totally random. I was in before CBT, and posted before, and Ive seen Veterans with later dates and less posted get picked. It's luck of the draw!

for random it is just that - random.
for veteran it only picks ppl who have more posts than average. as far as i noticed, it may vary. I cross my fingers and cant stop looking at the timer at this moment, it's like waiting for christmas as a child! |

Thanks for clearing this up (somewhat); I noticed that a recent "veteran" beta winner registered just last month, and now that makes sense.
